LHYA Softball plays in the COGFP - https://cogfp.org/

Mandatory evaluations will be held in early March.

The league will provide a jersey for each player. We will order all uniforms based on the information collected on this registration form rather than the coaches asking for you to provide this, so please make sure you get the right sizes listed for your child.

 

Each player will be responsible for their own helmets, pants and socks. Your coach will notify you of the desired colors.

Per the current LHYA draft rules, returning players will be placed on their previous coach's team ONLY if the coach is also returning to the same level of play as last season. If a coach OR player is moving up a division, any of their players will be re-drafted. Please be advised that no player requests for a specific coach will be honored.

 

This program consists of the following levels of play. Games will be played at our home fields as well as away games against other teams participating in the COGFP.

 

6U (COGFP) – Born between 9/1/2018 and 8/31/2020

8U (COGFP) - Born between 9/1/2016 and 8/31/2018

10U (COGFP) - Born between 9/1/2014 and 8/31/2016

12U (COGFP) - Born between 9/1/2012 and 8/31/2014

14U (COGFP) - Born between 9/1/2010 and 8/31/2012

Practices start in March and can be up to three nights per week at your coach's discretion. Games start in May and can be one to three nights per week. Games may be any day of the week and there are possible double headers on the weekend. Games will be played with other LHYA teams as well as teams from the Central Ohio Girls Fast Pitch league. All levels of play will require some travel.
