2026 LHYA Spring Baseball

TeeBall – 14U:

You may opt out of selling $35 worth of candy bars, by answering Yes in the waivers section, to paying a $20 fee up front.

Division Age Ranges:

Tee Ball 5-6

Coach Pitch 7-8

Minors 9-10

Majors 11-12

14U/Pony 13-14

Play Up requests must be submitted to [email protected]. Players will need to be approved through the eval process. Send your child's Name, Date of Birth, previous coach and experience. As well as the division in which you are requesting to play. Keep an eye on email for play up evaluation info and further questions.

This year, LHYA Baseball will be joining the Knox Licking Rec Baseball league (KLRB).

Team and Coach requests are not permitted unless they are siblings in the same household. Returning players to the same Division will be placed on the same team. Unless the coach has moved on and the assistant did not takeover. All other players will be chosen through a Draft. Players not attending evaluations may be placed on a team through a hat pick.

Spring season General Timeline Information (Will Update as dates are solidified):

- Registration - Closes end of February

- Player Evaluations - March 7

- Team selection/ Draft - early March

- Practice begins: March weather permitting

- Field cleanup day-Late March

- Season Begins: End of April Beginning of May

- Season Tournaments: TBD

3 Events per week are expected. During Pre-Season up to 3 practices may be held per week. In season, expect 1 Practice & 2 Games OR 2 Practices & 1 Game.

Players are responsible for Pants, Socks, and belts (Coaches will provide colors during pre season). Players must also be equipped with Legal Bats (Bring it Swing it for 8U-12U. Tee ball may use Tee Ball bat or USA bat), Cleats (NO METAL), and Fielding Glove. Players can use batting gloves and bring their own equipment for catching if desired. LHYA will provide 8-12U teams with Age level sized catchers gear and catchers glove for team use.
