We would like to extend an invitation to all previous Pataskala Park softball players and their families to join the LHYA. We have worked very hard along side the Pataskala Parks and Rec Board to make sure your children can play softball on their home field at Foundation Park. This will be a wonderful opportunity for your young ladies to play in a competitive and fun environment for the 2009 season. We are very excited to welcome you all into our softball program.

Open registrations are this weekend. Saturday February 14th from 9am-12:00pm and Sunday February 15th from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Leads Center on Adams Road. February 15th will be the last day for registrations to avoid any late fees.

We have five divisions in which your child can play based on their age as of January 1st. 14 and under, 12 and under, 10 and under, 8 and under as well as a great coed t-ball program. All-Star teams will follow our regular season. You will find our rules somewhat similar to what you may have played in the past. Our softball teams are a part of the COGFP, Central Ohio Girls Fast pitch, where they will have the opportunity to play other surrounding schools such as Johnstown, Northridge, and Granville to name a few. The rules are Ohio High School Athletic Association, modified for each division. You can view a complete list of rules by division on our website at www.lhya-sports.org and download your registration form while you are there.

We will have exciting new fundraisers this year including a spirit wear fundraiser. We will be offering a Warriors Softball logo so that your families will feel right at home with the LHYA.

Opening Day Festivities are scheduled for April 19th, Spring Tournaments will be held at Foundation Park May 7th -10th, and our first cogfp games will be played the following week.
