JLSFC U-19s to Play Wilmington in Pre-Season

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania - March 17, 2012

Junior Lone Star FC U19s will, today, travel to New Castle, Delaware to play the Wilmington University Wildcats in a Pre-Season Friendly. The game is slated for 2:00 pm. The U19s, who finished third in Virginia's Annandale Premier Cup thereby moving up from 11th to 7th in Pennsylvania, will take a strong 19-man squad to face the Wildcats who finished third in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference with a 7-2-2 conference record and an 8-7-7 overall record.

Several Junior Lone Star FC players have played for the Wildcats over the years. Presently, the Club's U23 player, Eddie Kowalo, plays for the Wildcats and he led the team with 29 points (12 goals, 5 assists) in 18 games last seeason. Another famous Junior Lone Star FC and Wilmington University Wildcats' alumnus is Anthony Allison who currently plays in Sweden.

Junior Lone Star FC U19s will be led by Assistant Coach Notle Jolo and Youth Coordinator Kara Smith. The 19-man squad includes:

GOALKEEPERS: Jefferson Banto, Manoyou Kpou
DEFENDERS: Amah Dunoh, Teddy Akoi, Biko Zoegar, Martin Gartei, Joe Sandi
MIDFIELDERS: Joseph Koroma, Nelson Wolo, Deron Joe, Abu Donzo, Tahirou Kanneh, Solomon Zoegar
FORWARDS: Mohammed Kamara, Guy Sikpa, Elijah Ema, Ali Bamba, Mohamed Fofana
